Privacy Policy

Not the University of Sindh. UoS Admission Assistant is an independent student project run by Muhammad Kaif. It is not owned, run or endorsed by the University of Sindh, and it does not collect information on the university's behalf.

The short version

  • We collect only what the features you use need: for example your name and marks for the CPN calculator, or your messages if you chat with us.
  • We never see your password or any card or bank details.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not show advertising.
  • Only you and the site owner can read your private messages and Personal Guidance answers.
  • You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your choices").

What we collect, and why

When you fill the welcome form (optional). Your name, district and area of interest. We use this to understand who the site helps and to improve it.

CPN calculator and Find My Department. The name you type, your matric and intermediate percentages, your test score (if you enter one), your group, your interest and your preference, and the CPN that was calculated. If you are logged in, this is linked to your account. We use it to show you suggestions, and the site owner can see these records.

Your account. Your email address and name, and whether you have Premium. Your password is handled by a secure sign-in service, so we never see or store it.

Mock tests. Your name, district and academic background, the test you took, your answers' results, scores and timing, linked to your account so you can see your progress.

Messages. What you write in the chat, the time, and any payment transaction ID you send. Your conversation is private to you and the site owner.

Personal Guidance. The answers you give in the intake form (name, email, group, marks, interests, priorities, where you will study from, your goal and worries), your optional phone number, your payment transaction ID, and the status and dates of your guidance. Once you lock your answers they cannot be edited. Only you and the site owner can see them.

Contact form and community questions. The name, email, subject and message you send us. Questions posted to the community may be visible to other students.

Payments. Payments are sent by you through JazzCash. We do not receive your wallet details, we only see the transaction ID and amount you give us, so that we can match your payment.

Saved in your browser

The site saves a few things in your browser so it works the way you left it: your login session, your name and interest, your preference, your application plan and checklist ticks, which notices you have dismissed, and site settings. This stays in your browser. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else handles your data

Like any website, this one runs on third-party hosting, database and content services, which receive basic technical information such as your IP address when your browser contacts them. Payments are processed by JazzCash, and we have no access to your account there.

This site links to Kagzo, another project by the same developer. Kagzo is a separate service with its own privacy policy, and clicking one of those links takes you to its website. Kagzo can see that you came from this site, and we do not pass it any other information about you.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with the University of Sindh or any advertiser.

How we protect it

The site uses HTTPS. In our system, your messages, guidance answers and account records are protected so that you can only read your own, and only the site owner's admin login can read everyone's. Messaging is rate-limited to prevent abuse. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not put anything in the chat that you would not want read by the site owner (for example never send a password).

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you use the site, and for as long as it is useful to help you through the admission cycle. When you ask us to delete it, we will.

Your choices

  • Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by messaging us in the site chat or by email at muhammadkaifjokhyo@gmail.com.
  • Skip the optional welcome form, the optional phone number and any other optional field.
  • Clear the data stored in your browser at any time.

Students under 18

Many applicants are under 18. If you are, please use the site with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, especially before sending any payment.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
